The Rundown: T’Challa is missing from Wakanda and finds himself being taken on an interesting journey with some possible allies.

With T’Challa missing from Wakanda, Shuri trains to take her mind off her worries. A regiment that will get the attention of Queen Okoye and the pair attempt to work out their differences with some not so friendly sparring.

At the same time, Black Panther finds himself traveling the land with Killmonger who brings him to a strange temple. Along with Killmonger’s partner Storm, the pair find themselves in the heart of the power Ra and Khonshu seek in Africa. A power that is not Vibranium.

The Story: Hill continues to craft an entertaining new story for Black Panther. The lore gets more interesting as the new iterations of these characters capture my imagination with possibility both good and bad. I love the tension throughout the issue especially between the characters and the revelation within the issue makes me excited to see where the story goes next.

The Art: Caselli delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. The imagery is brilliantly detailed and evocative as it captures the emotion of the character moments while also adding some thrilling action.
